'God Of War' 4 News Update: Sony Santa Monica Bent On Impressing With New Kratos Chronicle?

As one of the flagship titles of Sony's home entertainment product "God Of War" 4 has a lot to live up to technically and gameplay-wise. Very likely, after all, the new "God Of War" by Sony Santa Monica will be the killer app for PS4 Neo.
As it is, "God Of War" is one of Sony's most important franchises. Unsurprisingly, "God Of War" 4 as the next entry in the series has a lot riding on it.
It seems though that Sony Santa Monica is more than aware of expectations hinged on their new "God Of War" installment. Suffice it to say that Sony Santa Monica intends to impress gamers with "God Of War" 4, whether they plan to play Kratos' latest chronicle on PS4 Neo or the vanilla PS4.
  Not many people would remember that when "God Of War" was originally released, "GoW" borrowed heavily from the original Capcom trilogy of "Devil May Cry." Today, however, "The Last of Us" is one partial inspiration - as Parent Herald reports - in gameplay and intimate story telling over stylized hyper-violence - and within the Norse mythology setting in "God Of War" 4.

The "God Of War" 4 writer and creative director Cory Barlog - a series mainstay since the original - has decided on the new direction. Undoubtedly, Cory Barlog gave this "GoW" shift a lot of thought and care.
Gamingbolt takes the time to analyze and predict how "God Of War" 4 will look on screens. If these predictions are accurate, and given Sony Santa Monica's trailblazing production values, "God Of War" 4 on release will probably be one of the most visually impressive game ever.
Many questions remain among "God Of War" fans about the story. Although unstated it wouldn't be a surprise to anyone if this soft-reboot will at least be a "GOW" trilogy.
