Rise of the Tomb Raider PS4 Release Date Confirmed
Cute lara is back again on PS4!!!
Rise of the Tomb Raider is going to release on PS4 and now it is no longer exclusive to XBOX One.
Square Enix has announced Rise of the Tomb Raider will launch on PlayStation 4on October 11 in a new 20 Year Celebration edition. This version of the game will feature "a completely new story chapter entitled Blood Ties."
In addition to this, it will have new co-op Endurance gameplay, PlayStation VR support for the new Blood Ties chapter, all previously released DLC, extra outfits, weapons, and Expedition Cards. A limited edition art book will also be included.
All this content will be available for free to Xbox One and PC to players that own the season pass. This, however, won't include VR support. The season pass will be updated to include this content going forward.A season pass does not exist for PS4 as all the extra content is included in the new version of the game. While developers Crystal Dynamics had previously talked about the possibility of going beyond 30 frames per second for the game, it seems as if that might not actually happen as the gameplay preview seems to be locked at 30FPS. It is a bit surprising since the Definitive Edition of the 2013 Tomb Raider managed to go beyond 40 frames on PS4 but perhaps developers decided to lock it down to 30 just in case there are some frame issues.
